It loses weight

Close my eyes; not tight shut, but closed.
I see it.
It loses weight, deflates.
Crisp, not sharp.
This gift.
Desperation.

Hours like this.

Trust.

Soon I can let them open,
open to see,
it has passed.

Forgive.

[Berlin. Intercontinental Hotel. Photographs of photographs]

Welcome to photographic punctuation!

So, I have taken the first step and set up a blog. It is January 3rd 2013 and I am at the beginning. It is exciting to think how these pages will fill up. My intention is to post photographs and words here. To link and extend from my Flickr accounts.

The name of my blog is taken from this photograph here. Photographic Punctuation. The name combines my two passions – photography and words. Photography punctuates how we see.

Trying to see what can be seen and how to see it.

Wish me luck!
