Friday the 13th. Unlucky for some who believe in that kind of thing.
Things on my mind today:
Newness
Forgiveness

Knowing it is still being said

Two images today from Tokyo and Berlin.
A new week…
Hearing it said
Today I will be mainly hiding from myself
Things on my mind today:
Here is an image from a day trip to Daegu last year. It is the final one in the little series of blurred colours in the rain.
Daegu delights
And here is an image from Berlin taken with the iPhone.
Confidence that each step is the step which brings me closer to you
One more to add to the latest in the series of images. This is another taken last year, this time in Taipei, and played with in January of this year. I can have so much fun these type of images. Let’s see where we can go with these. Thanks for all the great feedback on this little series.
Taipei Trypophobia
Blur will save the world, you know. Sure clarity allows us to see what is what, but it is blur which allows harmony and integration. It knocks the hard edges off things and colours blend. Believe in blur.
Believe in blur: Blur will save the world
Here’s wishing you all a very Happy Christmas. Thanks for all the visits and support.
Happy Christmas
Together
I was really delighted with the reaction to the short feature on mobiography yesterday and the accompanying blog post I did on mobile photography. Thanks to all for the visits, comments and emails.
Two images today from Berlin taken at night. The iPhone image is of a shop front in the Kreuzberg area of Berlin. A very simple photograph. I was attracted to the colours, light and the way the two pullovers remained so still.
First date
This DSLR image follows on from yesterday’s bike shot. Bright blur.
Hallucinogenic Hazards
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas…
Two posts in one day! What am I doing?
Yesterday, I posted this image to Flickr and got a great response. Thanks to all. But the image was one I was not sure of whether to post in black and white or in colour. On Facebook, I posted it on colour and asked the question: Is this better in black and white or colour? Colour, came the response. So, today I am posting the colour image (flipping it horizontally) to Flickr.
Berlin
This iPhone image is taken on a main shopping street in Berlin. I cannot recall its name. I was struck by the design and lights of the building opposite and when I came across this parked van I knew I could use it to frame some shots. Here is one I got with the iPhone. I got more with the DSLR which I will post later.
